Backspacer es el noveno álbum de estudio de Mermelada de Perla, la banda de rock alternativa americana, programado para el 20 de septiembre de 2009. Muchos comentan que no es el mejor album de la banda;demasiado pop, comercial y pegadizo...habra que escucharlo...

Eddie Vedder - Into The Wild (2007)

Aunque Pearl Jam pase uno de sus mejores momentos y esté muy lejos de separarse, Eddie Vedder decidió debutar como solista. Para eso eligió componer las canciones que integrarán la banda de sonido de la película Into the wild, dirigida por su amigo Sean Penn. Además de su voz, Vedder ha aportado a la banda su faceta de multiintrumentista, tocando en algunas canciones guitarra, batería, ukelele, armónica, acordeón y sitar.

Pearl Jam - Vitalogy (1994)

Vitalogy es el álbum más variado,oscuro e idiosincrático de la banda.Una producción parca y unas letras inusuales harían este álbum inaccesible hasta después de escucharlo más a conciencia. Las armonias creadas por Vedder son básicas, construídas alrededor de riffs de guitarra furiosos y una batería arrítmica. En "Pry, To" cuando es tocada al revés, se puede escuchar el mensaje oculto "Oh, Pete Towmsend, how you saved my life!"

Pearl Jam - Covers y mas...

El concierto que Pearl Jam dio la semana pasada en la edición 2007 del festival Lollapalooza fue censurado en su transmisión vía Internet debido a comentarios anti Bush que Eddie Vedder expresó durante el tema Daughter.La banda admite sentirse "dolida y preocupada como artistas pero también como ciudadanos por la manera en que se sigue consolidando la censura y el control de los medios.Vaya aqui nuestro humilde apoyo(a la banda,claro).
