Inactive Messiah - Sinful Nation (2008)

Inactive Messiah es una banda de black metal/death metal melódico formada en Atenas en el año 2001. En el año 2006 lanzaron “Be my Drug”, el cual ha conseguido excelentes críticas, posteriormente han sacado «Sinful Nation» que sería su cuarto álbum. Muy técnico y melódico al mismo tiempo, con riffs letales, batería contundente y brutales vocales que quedan geniales, este black/death metal con buenas composiciones, arreglos profesionales y grandes habilidades musicales son los materiales que Inactive Messiah utiliza para crear su música.

Manatees - Icarus, The Sunclimber (2009)

Este trío británico le está dando una nueva perspectiva al Sludge, pero sin duda alguna estamos ante material auspicioso y personal. Básicamente, Manatees logra condensar sus claras influencias de formas poco convencionales sin por ello resignar el hilo compositivo ni la energía. Logra conmover sin necesidad de apelar a los lugares comunes del Post-Rock y pueden sonar extremadamente violentos y opresivos.
